Cornelia Weber Photography

My artistic approach begins with developing a sense of my clients' personalities and wishes. This allows me to construct a kind of emotional outline to the day. Then I let the story unfold and the images speak their own language. I am inspired by the love I see in couples and the joy they share in celebration with family and friends.

In addition to the formal wedding poses, I strive to capture precious moments when the couple isn't aware of the camera, secretly holding hands or passionately glancing at each other, moments that happen like a flash and then are gone forever. I try to focus on little details such as rose petals tossed in the wind, giggling children at play, or grandma attentively videotaping while wiping away a tear. I also like to capture ordinary moments and frame them in unique ways, thinking about each photograph as a small poem, composed with the client in mind. My goal is to make the final product a composition that is often returned to for enjoyment like a favorite book.

My personal story started back in Germany as a professional bookseller. My passions are books, traveling, and art. I have been fortunate to have had the chance to experience them all. I believe my travels to many countries with diverse cultures has taught me to see moments of spirituality and love with a unique perspective.
